Like all dreams, this one started with an idea. The idea to find a vision, an identity, a dream for Europe. But what is Europe? And how do Europeans view their continent? Is Europe merely a supranational institution where everything is all about politics? Can we reduce it to a European Football Cup every 4 years? Or an annual Eurovision Song Contest? Is it just about laws and rules and money? Or do we have more in common? Maybe a vision or a dream for the future?

What we do know is that Europe is shaped by the people, their behaviours, feelings, opinions and dreams – Europe is you! For “United Dreams of Europe”, we conducted a survey in which we’ve asked over 15,000 citizens across Europe about their life. Plus, we interviewed politicians, scientists and students about their thoughts on the future of Europe. But we want to get an even bigger impression so we asked you!
